Philip Zabel, PG, REPA
Philip Zabel is the owner and president of Impact Environmental. Mr. Zabel has 13 years of environmental consulting experience. His experience includes Phase I Environmental Site Assessments on varied property types including retail shopping centers, commercial office and warehouse buildings, service stations, brownfields, industrial facilities, multi-tenant and single family residential buildings, railroad yards, airports, and vacant parcels. He also has extensive experience with Phase II subsurface environmental investigations, asbestos inspections, abatement design, air monitoring and operations and maintenance plans, NEPA Environmental Assessments and lead-based paint inspections.
Between 1997 and January of 2006, Mr. Zabel was the senior project manager for a statewide environmental consultant. His duties included Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAs, asbestos consulting, underground storage tank closure, remediation over-site, lead-based paint inspections, Brownfields assessments and NEPA Environmental Assessments. Responsibilities also included drafting proposals, report writing, cad drafting, client relations and invoicing.
Between 1994 and 1997, Mr. Zabel was a project manager and bulk asbestos analyst with a national environmental consultant. His duties included Phase I ESAs, asbestos inspections, asbestos air monitoring and analysis of bulk asbestos samples with a polarized light microscope.
Through his progressively more responsible experience, Mr. Zabel has proven his ability to complete complex environmental projects on-time and within budget.
